I actually am allergic to jean material! I don’t own jeans and I haven’t in about 10 years. I just wear dresses or leggings.  That’s the only real solution.  Then you get to look fancy by default! :)

This is maybe the most common question I get asked about suspension. The answer is, it feels different every time depending on my physical state, my mental state, and if I’m suspending privately or for a show.  The real answer is it is something you would have to try in order to know what it’s like because it’s indescribable.  And I use lashes from the drugstore!  Way better than any fancy expensive lashes you would buy at a makeup store :)

I thought this might be important to post, being a woman in an industry thats obsessed with perfection. Ive had many inquiries lately from ladies who think what I do as a profession is fun fluffy pink clouds of glamour. Quite a few women asking to teach them fire, or wanting to try needles/suspension/etc. first question I always ask is “Are you prepared to have scars on your perfect skin forever”. These are unfiltered photos of my chest, side, arm, knees, and part of my back at their BEST. I LOVE what I do more than anything in the world. So much, that I accept these imperfections that scare some photographers. Ive grown to love them most days. So here you go folks. This is reality. Imperfections are beautiful.
